Ryan's college buddy Rich and his wife OJ came to visit us a few weeks ago so we decided to get out of the city. We went to a place called Great Mackerel Beach which is only accessible via a ferry from Palm Beach. Although it was pretty rainy, we had a wonderful time exploring, hanging out by the fire and cooking delicious food. We hope that they come back to visit again!
We stayed at a house named Bimbimbie. It was tucked away in the forest and we had to cart our things from the dock in wheelbarrows!
It all started out so innocently with a hike in the rain. We were bushwhacking through the forest exploring and having a great time.
About an hour after we got home, Ryan found that a LEECH was sucking the blood out of his leg, gross! Upon further investigation, we found about 9 leeches on our shoes. Thank god this was the only one that got into the house!
